School Partnerships

Every school and student body is unique. MSC creates custom partnerships to fit the specific needs of your school. We understand the increase of mental health struggles with our youth and are here to support you and your students.

Schools we have/are currently in partnership with:

  • St. Paul of the Cross, Park Ridge

  • DePaul College Prep, Chicago

  • St. Juliana, Park Ridge

Direct Support

Our licensed clinicians can meet with students 1:1 for direct mental health support on site. We can also provide support and observations in the classroom and recommend/implement interventions or accommodations.

2

Group Support

Our clinicians can facilitate groups for students on site during school hours. Examples of groups we have run include 5th grade girls self-esteem, 3rd & 4th grade boys emotional regulation group, 8th grade executive functioning group.

3

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

We often hear from students that the social emotional lessons they recieve do not resonate with them. We hear from schools that they have specific topics they want lessons on but have trouble finding curriculum they like. We offer a variety of options to help fill the gap. We can do one SEL on a specific topic for a specific class or collaborate on year long SEL programing. As therapists for children and teens in the community we bring in a unique perspective and love to teach skill building that has worked for our clients.

4

Mental Health/Suicide Risk Assessments

We have worked with k-8 schools and high schools on planning, facilitating, assessing and communicating with families on suicide/mental health assessments.

5

Speaking & Trainings

We provide custom trainings for schools and speaking for parents, teachers, or emotional support teams. Our clinicians have worked in a variety of mental health settings i.e., therapeutic day schools, Lurie's inpatient psychiatric unit and partial hospitalization program and school social workers. This experience and our work in private practice have given us a unique background when discussing behavior management, school refusal, confidence building, school based anxiety and building resilient kids.
