Service Description
Get ready to start the school year with confidence in our Back to School Readiness Bootcamp! This fun and interactive group is designed for incoming 4th-6th graders and is led by licensed therapist Laney Dossey. The bootcamp will help students develop the skills they need to transition back to school smoothly and positively. What We’ll Focus On: -Executive Functioning Skills: Students will learn and practice important skills like time management, organization, and goal-setting to help them stay on track with schoolwork and daily tasks. -Social Skills: The group will focus on building strong communication skills, conflict resolution, and making new friends, helping students feel more comfortable and confident socially. -Self-Advocacy Skills: Students will learn how to express their needs, ask for help when needed, and advocate for themselves in the classroom and beyond. -Expected School Behaviors: We’ll review key school behaviors like following directions, being respectful, staying organized, and managing emotions. These discussions will help students feel prepared for the school environment. Why Join? Cancellation Policy
Support Group Policy We are excited to have you join us. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all participants, we have outlined the following policies: Payment Agreement: By registering for the support group, you agree to pay the applicable fees for participation. Your spot will be reserved upon receipt of payment. Limited Availability: Our support group has limited spots available. We encourage you to confirm your attendance as soon as possible. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Full Refund: If you decide not to attend, you must notify us at least one week before the start date of the group to receive a full refund. Partial Refund: If you cancel within 24 hours before the start date, you will be eligible for a partial refund. No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start date are not eligible for any refund. Notification of Absence: In the event that you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible. This will help us offer the spot to someone else who may be on the waitlist.
