Having spent my entire career working in the field of psychiatry, I have practiced across nearly every level of psychiatric care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient (PHP/IOP), and outpatient. I trained and worked at Lurie Children’s Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Compass Behavioral Health, where I gained extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults in higher acuity settings. These experiences allow me to approach care with strong clinical proficiency, navigate potential crises, and recognize when additional support may be needed.

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), I can diagnose psychiatric conditions, prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, order and interpret lab work, and provide brief psychotherapy. I enjoy collaborative care and I'm happy to consult with other members of your whole health treatment team to ensure we are achieving the best possible outcomes. While I work with patients across the lifespan, I have a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults and cherish the relationships I build with these patients as I walk with them through the many quickly changing phases of their lives. 

As a PMHNP, I partner with my patients and view their care through a holistic lens, understanding that as life’s stressors fluctuate, so might the needs of pharmacological and behavioral interventions. I take great pride in meeting my patients and their families where they are at in their mental health journeys and provide individualized care for each patient I work with.
