Marie Renaudin
Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Therapist
I believe that every individual’s story deserves to be met with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that when we take the time to understand someone’s lived experiences, relationships, and the environments that shaped them, we can better understand the person as a whole. Through a person-centered lens, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their most authentic selves.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University. My clinical interests include working with adolescents and adults navigating identity development, life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Before entering the counseling profession, I worked in various settings with children and adolescents as a substitute teacher and after school counselor.
Outside of counseling, I am also a registered yoga instructor (RYT 200), which has greatly influenced the way I understand healing and growth. My work as a yoga teacher has deepened my appreciation for the connection between the mind and body, and has taught me how to incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness into the therapeutic process to help clients reconnect with themselves in a more grounded and meaningful way.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they explore who they are, where they have been, and where they hope to go.
