Monika Wojciechowicz, LCSW
Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Therapist
Bachelor of Social Work, Masters of Social Work
I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience providing crisis intervention and brief therapeutic support in a fast-paced emergency room setting. For the past 2.5 years, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, helping patients navigate acute emotional distress, stabilize during moments of crisis, and develop safe discharge plans.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions, and I bring a calm, grounded approach to sessions. My background in emergency care allows me to meet clients where they are and help them build practical coping strategies during overwhelming moments.
As a first-generation Polish American, I understand the complexities of cultural identity, family expectations, and generational differences. I enjoy working with young adults, particularly those from Eastern European backgrounds.
I also have over 10 years of experience in cheerleading and currently work with Varsity Spirit. This informs my work with athletes and individuals struggling with performance anxiety, confidence, and self-esteem.
I strive to create a supportive, client-centered environment where clients feel heard and empowered to build on their strengths.
My Focus: Anxiety, Life transitions and stress, young adults, teens, athletes
