I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The most important thing to me is creating a personalized safe space that provides comfort, competent care, empathy, and understanding to foster confidence and healing. I am passionate about helping bring out the best in people!
I started my career working in an adult psychiatric unit, providing care for adults. Working as part of the behavioral response team and running groups. I have enjoyed seeing the transformation my patients have made as their light shines a little brighter and they see the greatness they possess within themselves.
As a First-Generation Latina, I am excited to become a therapist and help both Spanish and English clients. I believe therapy should be accessible to people of all backgrounds. As a Hispanic woman I understand the challenges it is for Spanish-speaking individuals to find therapy services. I also, understand the stigmas that are associated with mental health.
I believe in the power of creating a safe space where individuals feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow.
My Focus: Tweens, Teens, Adults, Self-esteem, Depression, Latinx Population
