Sophia Zimbler

Adolescent & Young Adult Therapist

B.A. in Clinical Psychology
M.A. in Education in Community Counseling

I hold a B.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Education in Community Counseling with a focus on Clinical Mental Health. My passion lies in supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate major life transitions and uncertainties, including challenges related to anxiety, depression, executive functioning, and trauma. Stepping into new roles and responsibilities can often feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating. Therefore, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and accepting environment where individuals can explore their experiences, be their authentic selves, and discover new opportunities for growth. I have experience in mindfulness meditation as well as previous work with a nonprofit organization serving women impacted by domestic and sexual violence. These experiences have helped me develop an approach that believes in empowering individuals to make meaningful changes and find their sense of belonging.

My Focus: Anxiety, ADHD, Mood Disorders, Life Transitions, Trauma & Relationship Issues
